No prior experience is needed! This simulator and session is specifically designed for beginners and aspiring student helicopter pilots. Our instructors are real pilots who will guide you through every aspect of the flight, tailoring the experience to your skill level. It is important to listen to and follow instructions, and be smooth with the controls.

The cost of a helicopter trainer student pilot flight simulation experience in Sydney depends on the length of the experience.

Pricing for the helicopter trainer simulator starts at $232 for 45 minutes (plus briefing), through  to $561 for our “Try The Lot” flying a 3 simulators package all in the same session. The helicopter trainer simulator can be substituted for the light aircraft simulator.

We have a package of 3 flight simulators to fly on the same day and session for the ultimate adrenaline fueled aviation experience.

Otherwise, you can book and be the pilot and fly any of our flight simulators. Minimum age of 12 applies, unless coordinated and approved (refer to Terms and Conditions).

Other flight simulators available are F/A-18 fighter jet, Airbus A320/321), 737, helicopters R22 and Sikorsky S76, and light aircraft simulators (Cessna, Piper, Beech, Mooney, Cirrus, Aero Commander with a variety of single and multi-engine options).

What to expect when you arrive at our Sydney flight simulator location.

We will post details on the front door relevant to the day. You may have a short wait while we complete the previous session. Seating is available in the courtyard at the front entrance. We will greet you as soon as we can.

We operate on a fairly tight schedule and stay as close to session start and finish times as we can. Please arrive on time to be ready to commence your simulator session at the scheduled time.

You will be in a unique simulation centre that is not available anywhere else in Australia (or maybe the world).

On the day of your Sydney simulator experience you should bring your booking, voucher or gift card details and provide them to the instructor.

Bring along one or two observers to watch your flight. Additional persons require prior approval and are subject to space available on the day.

Bring a camera, video, or your mobile phone to take photos and videos.

Bring a sense of adventure and a smile. And have fun!!

Yes, a maximum of 2 observers are allowed to watch your helicopter trainer session due to space limitations. Prior approval must be obtained if you would like to bring more than 2 observers.

The minimum age is generally 12 years old for the student helicopter pilot flight experience, but exceptions for children aged 9-12 can be made after a prior discussion.
